READ ABOUT US AND WHAT WE DO

The Malvern Hills Decorative and Fine Arts Society is a local society affiliated to the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies.

We arrange a programme of lectures on the third Wednesday evening of each month from September to May. We hold these lectures in Colwall Village Hall, Mill Lane, Colwall. Coffee is served from 7.00 p.m. before the lecture starts at 7.30 p.m.

We arrange week-long tours, about four one-day visits a year and hold two study days, which take place in members' houses, with a lunch provided.

We contribute to arts projects for the young through local schools
and organise a schools art award every two years.

We have a Church Recorders' group which produces detailed records of the contents of places of worship. Please take a look at the notice board.

We run a Heritage Volunteers scheme. Our volunteer members carry out textile and book conservation and as well some of our members act as guides at Little Malvern Court.

Although we have no vacancies at the moment, if you would like more information click here to contact us, or here if you wish to apply to join the waiting list.
