THE HEREFORDSHIRE AND WORCESTERSHIRE SIXTH FORM SCHOOLS BIENNIAL ART AWARD

The Society holds a biennial Art Award, open to schools in the Malvern Hills district, in St Edmund's Hall, Malvern College in March every other year.

This is our major contribution to NADFAS 'Young Arts'. Started in 1973, Young Arts provides exciting opportunities for children and young people to expand their horizons through their involvement in creative arts activities.

We aim to inspire young people with a lasting enthusiasm for the arts and an awareness of our arts heritage and its conservation.

Our vision is equality of opportunity for all to learn through participation in the arts. We do this in two ways. One is to fund a local school in an arts related activity (usually a one off). The other is the biennial art exhibition where we offer substanial financial awards in different art categories.
